Abilities/powers: Despite being quite visible, Gavin is very quick and difficult to catch. He is adept at running, jumping, climbing, and basically ducking out of the way. His speed and flexibility are just barely bordering on inhuman.

Age/Date of Birth: 1516. January 5.
General appearance: Standing at 5'9", Gavin has a wiry build and rounded jawline. His nose is slim and somewhat curved, and his eyes are large and pale gold in color. Gavin, like his sister, has no hair. Where hair should be (top of head, eyebrows, etc), colorful feathers sprout instead. The very top and front of Gavin’s hair-feathers are a deep gold while the back of his head and towards his neck blends into red-orange. Fine, almost hair-like feathers are beginning to sprout on his torso and extremities due to puberty, the ones in his armpits being dark blue, whatever might show on his back fading from green to golden, and those on his front being a deep crimson. Gavin’s arms from the elbow down and legs from the knee down are somewhat like bird feet in their texture and yellowish coloring, also ending in bird-like claws.
Additional Appearance: Gavin tends to dress rather boldly, purposely selecting items for their bright colors or stark contrast from whatever else he intends to wear with it. Whenever he wears a jacket or buttoned shirt, he keeps the front undone so that the shirt underneath is plainly visible. Especially if the colors clash.
Personality: Gavin is a friendly enough guy at first. He is rather talkative and enjoys joking around. However, he tends to have a somewhat sadistic streak in that his humor can be rather cruel and he seems to enjoy annoying or inconveniencin
g people. He is incredibly competitive and tends to hold grudges.
Special Skills: Gavin has little to no artistic skills given his horrible color sense and the fact that he is certainly not a songbird.
Place of birth: Bandon, Oregon.
Weapon(s) of choice: Gavin is quick, but not particularly strong. If he ever had to fight instead of flee, he would prefer to do it long-range.
Brief History: Coral and Gavin Zhou were raised just outside of Bandon, Oregon. All their lives the two were homeschooled by their parents. They would go to the Coquille River on a regular basis so Coral could swim while Gavin enjoyed the fresh air (in all actuality, he was bored out of his mind, but it gave him an excuse to leave the house). As the years passed, Bandon became a popular tourist destination and while Coral was taking online college courses and Gavin was reaching high school level their parents began wondering if it was safe to stay there. It seemed to work out well for a while as the Zhou kids were only ever seen from a distance while covered enough to be disguised. Eventually, though, as the river attracted more and more tourists, rumors began to spread about a huge silvery fish—which some insisted was a mermaid—swimming in the deeper and more remote waters. At this point, Mr. and Mrs. Zhou decided to send their kids to Xavier’s school.

How long your character has been in the mansion: New arrival. Five months.
Current Attire: A neon orange tee and sky-blue shorts with pink edges and green stripes down the sides (the shorts he's wearing in Figgy's pic). Also, since it's warm he is beginning to molt, meaning that he's clogging up the shower drain and is leaving behind dull, raggedy feathers on the floor and furniture.
